Dry Season

In Bali the rainy season lasts from the end of November through April. It's not a monsoon all the time but we could expect almost nightly thunderstorms that last 2-10 hours, lots of humidity and a real doozy of a storm about once a week. I really enjoyed the rainy season, it meant grey shady clouds and nightly atmospheric thunder claps.

However now that the dry season is starting I've noticed it's a bit cooler out. I can wear jeans and long sleeves again, just not at the same time. The air is also much drier. I've even started doing laundry and hanging it to dry on the balcony. I still love the laundry mat for towels, pants and really dirty stuff, who wouldn't love freshly ironed stacks like this. But it's fun to see sarongs, swim suits and Theos tops swinging in the breeze.
