Here is a recipe for the very popular Indonesian dish ayam goreng which I found in the local magazine, "Let's Eat". Ayam Goreng (or fried chicken) is a very popular dish here served in all the warungs, it differs from western fried chicked because it is a bit spicy and less greasy. I have a natural fear of frying things myself but I can't wait to try this recipe.
Ingrediants:
chicken
3 lime leaves
3 bay leaves
galangal
Seasoning:
6 shallots
6 garlic cloves
1 tb coriander
1 ts pepper
1 piece ginger

turmeric
2 tb salt

1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup rice flour
1 egg
1 cup water
