Off the coast of Nusa Penida there is an amazing spot to see manta rays. Descend 5 or 6 meters and look up. Rocked back and forth by the waves, trying not to blow to many bubbles as it may scare them off we saw 6 or 7 large mantas gliding over head. Mantas are usually about 3-5 meters wide and amazing to see. They are timid but curious so easier to get close to then a lot of fish. We also saw dolphins from the boat and some deserted beach caves on Nusa Penida. Can't wait to go back and explore the island at the end of the month. What an amazing dive site!
